Youth Programs
Religious Education for Students Not Attending Catholic Schools:

Mission:
ˇ¤ To provide age appropriate catechesis for grades K-6 using Archdiocesan approved curriculum.
ˇ¤ To assist the children as they grow in their relationship with Christ through prayer, faith sharing and scripture.
ˇ¤ To encourage participation at Sunday Mass by providing sessions that allow for attending Mass before or after their class.
ˇ¤ To provide instruction for those preparing to receive the sacraments of First Penance and First Eucharist.
ˇ¤ To provide on-going faith sharing and catechesis for parents of RE students while their children are in class.
Partners:
Parents are the primary teachers of their children in the way of faith. Parents are the living example of Christ. Our role is to supplement what you are doing at home. We are your partners in ˇ°planting and nurturing the seeds of faith.ˇ±
Pre-School
(3 ¨ö - 5 year olds)

Meet in on Sunday mornings from 10:00am –
11:00am in the school.

ˇ¤ Jr. High Ministry (7-8th graders) consists of two components.
o Students attending public school meet on Sunday mornings from 10:00-11:00am for continuing Religious Education.
o All Parish 7-8th graders (school, RE, and home-school) meet for boat cruises, dances, Archdiocesan conventions, service projects, fellowship, and faith sharing as planned. See bulletin for activities and dates.
Senior High School Ministry (grades 9-12)
o First Sunday of the Month – LIFE EVENT from 5:00-7:30pm in the Social Hall. Music, speakers, food and fellowship. Bring your friends and share the fun. The on-going theme this year is ˇ°exploring the meaning of life.ˇ±
o Opportunities for education (bible study, films, discussions) fellowship (Archdiocesan events, parties, and retreats) service (outreach to St. Vincent de Paul, Providence Hospitality House, Hope Link) are available several times throughout each month as planned. See bulletin for details.
